This article assumes you have:
- A Tidepool Account - if you do not have a Tidepool account, you can create one for free at tidepool.org/signup.
- Installed the latest version of the Tidepool Uploader - if you have not installed the Tidepool Uploader, you can download the latest version at tidepool.org/uploader.
- A OneTouch Verio Flex, Verio Reflect, Select Plus Flex, Ultra Plus Flex meter.
- A Mac or Windows computer with Bluetooth.
1. Connect your device
- Launch Tidepool Uploader and log in to your account.
- Confirm OneTouch Verio Flex, Verio Reflect, Select Plus Flex and Ultra Plus Flex (with Bluetooth) is one of your Devices. You can change your devices by selecting Choose Devices from the menu under your name.
2a. Initial Pairing & Upload of your Verio Flex, Select Plus Flex and Ultra Plus Flex meter
- Confirm Tidepool Uploader is set to the right time zone.
- Turn on the Verio Flex or Select Plus Flex meter by pressing and holding the OK button until the screen turns on.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the OneTouch Verio Flex or Select Plus Flex meter by pushing OK and ^ together.
- The
Bluetooth icon will appear at the top right of the screen to indicate Bluetooth has been turned on.
- Click Upload in Tidepool Uploader to start the upload process.

macOS will prompt you to input a numerical code using a macOS system dialog and Windows will prompt within the Tidepool Uploader app.
- Input the numerical code found on the Verio Flex or Select Plus Flex screen and click Connect on your Mac or Continue on your Windows PC.
- You will see a spinning icon on the Verio Flex screen and the progress bar in Tidepool Uploader will progress as the data from the meter is uploaded.
- After the upload is complete, you can upload another device or click See data to view your uploaded data.
2b. Initial Pairing & Upload of your Verio Reflect meter
- Turn on the Verio Reflect by pressing and holding the OK button until the screen turns on.
- Use the ⌄ button to navigate until Settings is highlighted, and then press OK.
- Use the ⌄ button to navigate until Bluetooth is highlighted, and then press OK.
- Use the ⌄ or ^ button to highlight On and then press OK.
- Press OK on the Take Note screen that appears.
- Use the back arrow button to return to the main menu.
- Confirm the
icon appears at the top right of the screen.
- Click Upload in Tidepool Uploader.

3. Subsequent uploads of your Verio Flex, Verio Reflect, Select Plus Flex, or Ultra Plus Flex meter
- Launch Tidepool Uploader and log into your account.
- Confirm Tidepool Uploader is set to the right time zone.
- Turn on the Verio Flex, Verio Reflect, or Select Plus Flex by pressing and holding the OK button until the screen turns on.
- Click Upload in Tidepool Uploader to start the upload process.
- You will see a spinning icon on the Verio Flex, Verio Reflect, Select Plus Flex or Ultra Plus Flex screen and the progress bar in Tidepool Uploader will progress as the data from the meter is uploaded.
- After the upload is complete, you can upload another device or click See data to view your uploaded data.
