With our no-cost Tidepool+ Base offering, clinics have a limit of 250 patients in their workspace. This article covers some of the messages you might see once your clinic has reached the patient limit.
If you are interested in adding more patients to your workspace, please reach out to your administrator to contact our Sales Team to talk through our Tidepool+ plans and learn more about what might make the most sense for you.
Unable to add new patient
- When trying to add a new patient account to your Clinic Workspace, a red banner pops up, indicating that your current Tidepool+ plan cannot accommodate more patient accounts.
- If you have reached the limit on new patients and would like to add more, you will need to talk to your system administrator about switching to another Tidepool+ offering to unlock more patient accounts. You can send them this plans page and reach out to our sales team to learn more about the different Tidepool+ offerings that can help you meet your clinic goals.
Maximum of 250 patients accounts reached
- The highlighted message in your Clinic’s Workspace Settings indicates that you have reached the maximum number of patients allowed in the Base plan.

- When your clinic reaches the 250-patient account limit, you will see that number highlighted in orange in your Clinic Summary Bar.
