Tidepool Uploader will not work on Chromebooks
Due to driver requirements for our various devices, Tidepool Uploader is unable to function on Chromebooks currently. While it is not an impossibility for the future, it will take a substantial amount of work to make all our compatible devices upload on ChromeOS.
Tidepool Web works on Chromebooks
Using the Chrome browser (different from ChromeOS — the Chromebooks' operating system) you can log in on https://app.tidepool.org to view your data. Tidepool Web has full functionality for Chromebooks.
ChromeOS? Google Chrome? What's the difference?
While we do require Chrome (or a based browser) for our Tidepool Web visualizations, ChromeOS is an operating system (akin to macOS or Windows) and many of the devices we upload do not have pre-existing drivers that are compatible with this operating system.
