This article assumes:
- A clinician on your diabetes care team has a Tidepool account and has added your email address to a Tidepool Web account they have created for you.
1. Open your email
- You should have received an email that looks like this:
- Tap or Click Claim Your Account.
2. Claim your account
- You will then be prompted to enter your birthday and create a password.
- Tap or Click Confirm.
- Next you need to log into your new Tidepool Web account.
- Tap or Click Next to proceed to the password screen.
- Enter your password and tap or click Log In.
3. Agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
- Only if you agree, of course.
If you are a caregiver: If you are signing up for an account for your child or someone you care for, please answer the age questions from your perspective — assuming you are over 18, select that as your age.
Next steps
- Congratulations, you've officially claimed your Tidepool account!
This means you can now:
- Connect your diabetes device to your Tidepool Web account like your Dexcom, LibreView or My twiist Portal account.
