This article assumes you have:
- A Tidepool Clinician account — if you are a person with diabetes you can still use Copy as text, you just will not see Clinician specific info like Patient Tags, Sites, or your Medical Record Number (MRN).
- Some diabetes data in the Tidepool Web account.
Using the "Copy as text" button
Launch Tidepool Web and log in to your Tidepool account. If you look at the Basics, BG Log, Trends, or Devices view, you will see a Copy as text button at the top of the right sidebar.
Clicking the Copy as text button will copy statistics from that view to your computer's clipboard, which you can then paste into a text document as a record of that information.
Next steps
You can use these statistics to compare your settings at a later date, or if you are a clinician using Tidepool Web, you could copy and paste this information into your electronic health record (EHR) system for the person with diabetes.
