Revert MTP Driver for use with Glooko®

This article assumes you want to:

  • Revert the Tidepool installed MTP driver in Windows so you can use your Insulet Omnipod DASH® with Glooko® using a Micro-USB cable
    • If you want to continue to use Tidepool to upload your DASH PDM via USB, but also upload to Glooko, then please review this support article from Glooko if you would like to learn how to upload your DASH® PDM automatically to Glooko® wirelessly.

1. Open Device Manager

  • Click Start or press the Windows key to open the Start menu
  • Type in "device" and select "Device Manager" from the list of search results
  • If prompted, input your administrator password for Device Manager

2. Change the Driver

  • From the devices tree select (1) click the > to the left of USB Serial Bus devices to expand the tree
  • (2) Double-click on MTP

  • Click on the (1) Driver tab at the top of the window that appears
  • Click the (2) Update Driver button

  • Click Browse my computer for driver software

  • Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

  • Select (1) MTP USB Driver from the list and click the (2) Next button

  • Click Close after the driver has updated itself

  • Click OK to close the MTP window

  • Close Device Manager
