- This applies to all Clinic team members
- Log into the Tidepool Data Platform at app.tidepool.org to access your Clinic Workspace dashboard.
- Click the Add New Patient button from the Clinic Workspace dashboard page.
- Enter the Name, Birthdate, MRN (optional), Email (optional), and Diabetes Type (optional). You can select a non-standard Target Range for the patient, if applicable. If your Workspace has access to the Population Health Dashboard, you can apply available Tags and Sites to the patient as well. Click Add Patient to finalize adding them to your patient list.
- Next, you have the option to send an invite to your patient to request they connect their Dexcom, My twiist Portal, or FreeStyle Libre account.
- Click Email Invite to send an email from Tidepool to your patient that contains a link to authorize the connection of their diabetes device to the Tidepool Web account you created for them.
- If you did not add their email address in Step 3, you will be prompted to add it now to allow for the invite to be sent. Click Send Invite to send the email.
- If your patient misses the email or it accidentally gets deleted, you can click [...] and then Bring Data into Tidepool to reopen the Bring Data into Tidepool screen.
- Click Resend Invite to resend the invitation to them.
