Adding a new patient account

  • This applies to all Clinic team members
  1. Log into the Tidepool Data Platform at app.tidepool.org to access your Clinic Workspace dashboard.
  2. Click the Add New Patient button from the Clinic Workspace dashboard page.


     
  3. Enter the Name, Birthdate, MRN (optional), Email (optional), and Diabetes Type (optional). You can select a non-standard Target Range for the patient, if applicable. If your Workspace has access to the Population Health Dashboard, you can apply available Tags and Sites to the patient as well. Click Add Patient to finalize adding them to your patient list.

    4. ‼️ Email is strongly recommended. Add one so Tidepool can invite the patient to link their device accounts (Dexcom, Libre, twiist) and upload data from home.
     
  4. You are done! You can click on the patient in your patient list to pull up their data.
