This article assumes:
- Your patient is using a Dexcom system, and it is uploaded to Dexcom Clarity
- Your patient lives in the United States.
- You have your patient's email address.
- You already created the patient's Tidepool Web account. If you are making a new patient account and want to link their Dexcom account data, see this guide.
- Log into Tidepool Web at app.tidepool.org using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to access your Clinic Workspace dashboard
- Search for your patient by name or click on Show All to locate your patient

To the right of your patient details click ... and then Bring Data into Tidepool
- Click Email Invite to the right of the Dexcom logo
- If you have not previously added the patient's email address, you will be prompted to do so. After adding their email, click Send Invite.
- If you already had added the patient's email address, clicking Email Invite in Step 4 will send the invite. Either way, you have now invited your patient to link their Dexcom account to Tidepool Web so you can view it in their account.
Your patient will receive an email that looks like this, but with your clinic's workspace name in place of [Seastar Endocrinology].
Your patient then clicks or taps Connect your Dexcom Account and is walked through the process of logging into their Dexcom account to link it to Tidepool.
