Table of contents:
Basics view:
Insulin -
In the Insulin section you will see filters allowing you to view days on the calendar when your twiist Loop app has Extended or Interrupted boluses. Additionally, you can filter for Meal, Correction, Override, or Underrided boluses. Lastly, you can filter to see boluses initiated with the One-Button Bolus option on your twiist pump. Click on a day tile to see that specific day in the Daily view.
Site Changes -
In the Site Changes section you will see an option to display either Cannula Fill or Cassette Changes. Change your selection by selecting the radio button of the option you prefer.
Basals -
In the Basals section you will see the number of times you left automated insulin delivery by clicking on the Automation Off option. You can click on the individual day to drill into the Daily view and see when the exit occurred. Additionally you can filter for Temp Basals or Suspends.
See Viewing Your Data - Basics for our more general article explaining the Basics view.
Daily View:
The Daily View provides a more granular view of all your device data.
CGM data uploaded from twiist Loop is displayed in the Glucose section at the top of the Daily View. Your carb entries, bolus, and basal rates are shown beneath.
In the following sections you will see the specific ways twiist Loop data is displayed in the Daily view.
Glucose -
The Glucose section displays your 5-min CGM values.
The Glucose chart in the Daily view shows smoothed 5-minute CGM data, not the exact BG readings the system used for dosing.
Additionally, you will see any manually inputted readings from your Blood Glucose Meter as larger dots on the Glucose chart.
Bolus & Carbohydrates -
When you hover over a bolus bar in the Bolus & Carbohydrates section you will see more information about the bolus including the programmed amount, carbs associated with the bolus if any, along with the Insulin on Board (IOB) and the Correction Range.
In the case of an interrupted bolus you will see the amount that was not delivered and then finally the delivered amount. You will also see at the top right of the box the time the bolus entry happened. The red line in the middle of the bolus bar indicates this was an interrupted bolus.
When you have an extended bolus (available only in Loop OFF) you will see a line extending to the right of the top of the bolus bar with a left facing triangle, indicating the bolus was extended. Hovering over the bolus will display the length of the extended bolus.
When you have a Dual Bolus (available only in Loop OFF) you will see two parts of the bolus bar. The upfront delivered and the extended portion shown with the left facing triangle with the line extending out towards it.
The yellow circle with the number inside of it is the number of carbohydrates in grams that were inputted. You will also see the emoji selected in twiist Loop along with the absorption time.
Basal Rates -
In the Basal Rates section you will see the changes in basal rates done by the twiist Loop app when it runs a loop every 5 minutes. If you are using Loop Off mode you will see an M flag indicating you have entered Manual mode. An A flag indicates Automated basals have resumed.
You will see a P flag when you have enabled your Premeal target.
Similarly you will see a W flag when you have enabled a Workout target.
Hovering over the P and W flag will show you the kind of preset, duration, and correction range of the preset.
Events -
In the Events section of the Daily View Tidepool displays certain pump alarms, device time changes, and notes.
Pump Alarms Shown
- Cassette Empty
- Battery Empty
- Line Blocked
Please note that pump alarms are only shown for the twiist AID system and not all alarms are shown.
Devices:
The Devices view shows you settings on your twiist Loop app. Unique features to twiist Loop include the Glucose Safety Limit, Insulin Model, and Presets.
Click the Calendar dropdown to view historical settings from your twiist Loop AID system. Select the date range you want and click Apply to view the settings from that date range.
Please note: The Devices view only shows the settings from the twiist AID System at midnight for a given day. To see precise device settings for a particular time frame, use the Export features found in Profile.
Statistics:
On the right side of the Basics, Daily, and Trends views you will see some new widgets that show you statistics that can help you understand more about your twiist Loop data.
Basics View -
On the Basics view you will see a new Average Daily Time in Automation widget, showing the average time in hours and minutes as well as the percentage compared to Manual for the displayed date range.
Additionally, you will see the Average Daily Time in Preset for either Premeal or Workout, broken down again with time in hours and minutes and percentage for the displayed date range on the Basics view.
You can change the date range seen in the Basics view by clicking the calendar icon to the right of the date range, which will update these widgets.
Daily View -
On the Daily view you will see those same two new widgets, but the time and percentages in them will focus on the 24 hour period you have displayed currently.
Trends View -
Similar to the Basics view, you will see average stats for the 1, 2, or 4-week period selected in the Trends view.
